The tallest statue in the world is in India, the statue of unity. Its total height is 240 m (787 ft). The statue is of Indian statesman and independence activist Vallabhbhai Patel. He was the first deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India. The memorial took around 4 years to design and construct. The high-speed elevators take the visitors up to 400 feet of the statue that is up to the chest level of the statue. The statue cost approximately $430m (29.9bn rupees) to build. Over 2,000 Indian and hundreds of Chinese workers contributed to the construction.

Spring Temple Buddha Statue stands in the Fodushan Scenic Area. It is located in the Zhaocun township of China. The statue represents the future form of Buddha as Maitreya. It is the second-tallest statue in the world after the Statue of Unity, India. Including the base, its height is 208 meters (682 ft). The Spring Temple Buddha derives its name from the nearby Tianrui hot spring. It was originally estimated to consist of 1,100 pieces of copper cast. The statue designed and built by Georgian artist Zurab Tsereteli.

The statue measures 116 meters, including base, it’s 129.2 meters tall. The Laykyun Sekkya statue depicts a standing Gautama Buddha. It was Hean Polywin who built the statue of Laykyun Sekkya Buddha. Ushiku Daibutsu is a statue located in Ushiku, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. The statue held the record for the tallest statue from 1993 to 2008. Presently, it is one of the top five tallest statues in the world. Including base, Ushiku Daibutsu statue measures 120 meters (390 ft) tall. The statue is made up of bronze. Inside the statue itself is a four-story building, which serves as a museum. The great statue Weight 4,003 tonnes. Ushiku Daibutsu was built to commemorate the birth of Shinran. He was the founder of the Jodo Shinshu sect of Japanese Buddhism.

Sendai Daikannon is the tallest statue of a goddess, in Japan. The statue depicts a manifestation of the Bodhisattva Kannon. Inside, the first floor of the statue has many large statues of Buddha and mythical kings. It has 108 small Buddha statue which shows different human emotions. It’s height is100 meters (330 ft) tall. Guishan Guanyin is the historical place in Changsha, China. The construction of this giant structure was completed in year 2009. Gilded bronze was used to build the statue. The Guishan Guanyin statue of China is 99 meters (325 ft). The statue was made with an invested 260 million yuan. Thousands of hands have a huge number of eyes. Peter the Great stands proudly atop a tower of ships, with a golden scroll in his hand. It was erected in 1997. The Georgian designer Zurab Tsereteli design the structure. The Great Buddha of Thailand, also known as The Big Buddha. This statue stands 92 m (300 ft) high, and is 63 m (210 ft) wide. The Buddha is in the seated posture called Maravijaya Attitude. The Big Buddha statue took 18 years to build. Construction commenced in 1990, and was completed in 2008. It is painted gold and made of concrete. The statue means as an object for teaching and guiding for the many people. Using donation money from faithful Buddhists, the construction was completed. Great Buddha is presently the eighth -tallest statue in the world.
